Sinehang Laboratoryo or SINELab is an on-going, alternative mode of inspiring the Filipino that he is a great storyteller in the moving-image media of motion pictures.
And yes, making your own film is a physically, mentally and financially challenging endeavour. Why not decrease stress during your shoot so you can focus on the creative part? As the army says, “Prior Preparation Prevents Poor Performance”.
We at SINELab Workshop offers you to take that initial step towards a stress-free production environment by learning the basics of Independent Filmmaking. For a package fee you’ll learn how to write screenplays, produce your own film, lead the project as its director as well as learn how to direct actors on the set.
Most of our graduates have moved on to film schools, used their knowledge in actual productions, finished their thesis films and enjoy making their dream films on their own or with their SINELab Batchmates. Some used their shortfilms as demo reel for film grants.
In this era of the internet and social networks, everyone’s into something like blogging. Why not share your story through film? First as a hobby(that does not have to be expensive!) then as a professional film practitioner. You can definitely use it for TV work. And you may be the next award-winning filmmaker!
