A FREELANCE PRODUCER for independent films, advertising and events. Prior to this, she worked for 3 years as a Video Editor and later as a Promo & Advertising Producer for 6 years with ABS-CBN Global (The Filipino Channel).  As a freelance producer she worked for Nickelodeon Asia (Manila Office) and other companies like Disney Channel’s interstitial plug “Disney Hidden Talent“.

She also worked as Production Manager for the award-winning independent film “Kubrador” (Bet  collector), commercial films Apat Dapat, Cute ng Ina mo and Big Love under a Viva Films/Star Cinema co-production.  Likewise, she is the  Cinematographer and Co-Producer for the independent films River of Dreams, Karoler, Reflections Beyond the River of Dreams and Pagburnayan. Ma-an was also the Line Producer for Jerrold Tarog’s MANGATYANAN and Ron Bryant’s ALON.

She attained a degree in Communication Arts at  St. Paul University, Quezon City, Philippines. She attended MOWELFUND FILM INSTITUTE for CINEMATOGRAPHY under LEE MEILY and MEXICAN FILMMAKING under Mexican Director GUSTAVO LOZA. She apprenticed with Director ERIK MATTI and also with Cinematographer BOY YÑIGUEZ. Ma-an is Co-Writer, Co-Producer and Cinematographer of the full-length feature film LAYANG BILANGGO which reaped four major awards for BEST PICTURE, BEST DIRECTOR, BEST ACTOR and BEST SCREENPLAY in the recent 6th CINEMA ONE ORIGINALS DIGITAL FILM FESTIVAL.

She has worked for Bank of the Philippine Islands(BPI)  for 30 years and currently she is the Managing Director of renowned Prosthetics Artist BENNY BATOCTOY’s MOUNTAIN ROCK PRODUCTIONS.
